Welcome! Thank you for visiting our website. I hope that as you navigate through these pages you are able to get a sense of who we are and what we believe. But more than that, I hope you will also see something of who our God is and how He sees us. “Two things I have heard,” writes David, “that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O God, are loving.” (Psalm 62:11-12). God is the Almighty – nothing is impossible for Him. He is the God of heaven and earth, who has made us and through the work of His Son Jesus Christ we are saved!
And He looks at us with love. We are the apple of His eye. We are His beloved. Centuries ago a pastor said, “The soul is a precious thing.” Here at Covenant Presbyterian Church we believe that. The Almighty loves us, therefore we are unbelievably valuable. We are called together by God in west Wichita to worship, to reach out, to learn, and to serve as a covenant community of faith

We are God’s covenant people with a real sense of the joy of worship, service and learning. We are a people of the rainbow and the cup. We believe in the saving works of God in the cross of Christ and that Jesus shares our pain through the shared cup. His grace compels us to reach out and share the Gospel with the whole world in the name of Christ with the words, ‘Come and see what the Lord has done’.
As people of the rainbow, we strive to embrace the variety of God’s people who find our unity in Christ. We will walk and grow together in the power of the Holy Spirit providing sanctuary for God’s children in a world of unrest.
In God we can do all things and so we trust God’s Spirit in our becoming the Body of Christ.
